Experience
Joined as a frontend engineer and progressively expanded responsibilities across backend, including a real-time chat system and affiliate infrastructure.
Chat Server
- Owned and maintained a production-grade webchat backend integrating Crisp CRM over WebSocket with a custom AI chatbot, automating 67% of customer support conversations.
- Led the migration of the chat server backend from Express to NestJS, introducing modular architecture, dependency injection, and consistent validation across the service.
- Added Redis caching for session/lookup data, cutting retrieval time from 50+ms to under 1ms.
- Implemented RabbitMQ-backed bulk messaging to smooth send rates and eliminate HTTP 429 failures against Crisp.
Affiliate Platform Backend
- Maintained the backend of the affiliate platform, which drives 11% of Rokomari's annual sales and handles 600+ orders daily.
- Cut a complex MongoDB aggregation ($lookup + $group + $facet pagination) from ~4.2s to ~350ms by restructuring the pipeline and indexing strategy.
- Redesigned data synchronization between the main service and affiliate service using RabbitMQ, dropping mismatched order counts from ~50/day to 0.
- Built a RabbitMQ-based asynchronous wallet/commission processing system handling 1,000+ wallet update events per cron run with reliable at-least-once delivery.
Affiliate Platform Frontend
- Implemented RBAC with Next.js middleware and NextAuth (Admin, Manager, Account, Affiliate roles).
- Built responsive dashboards and a reusable Tailwind component set used across the affiliate portal; built an AWS S3-backed banner upload/management system, increasing campaign engagement by 25%.
Main Storefront Next.js Migration
- Reduced main storefront page load time from 11s to 3s; brought the homepage within Core Web Vitals thresholds (LCP 2.1s, INP 150ms, CLS 0.05); built a custom SCSS + CVA + clsx styling library.
Legacy Platform & Team Practices
- Contributed to the legacy Spring MVC/JSP core service (CRUD, secret-key-secured REST APIs); introduced an AI-assisted UI workflow (Figma MCP, Playwright MCP, Claude Code CLI) reaching 85–90% design-to-code accuracy; raised Lighthouse performance above 70.
